Itsdoable Inc. was created in 2004 as a change agent for under-served youth, primarily focused on helping each child realize their full potential via programs tailored to inspire, motivate and support the total individual. Through mentoring, tutoring, motivational speakers, specialized workshops and sports camps, we teach youth the life skills and decision making processes that help them recognize challenges as growth opportunities, while enabling them to strategize and implement their personal pathway to success. With a solid community foundation established through collaborations with schools, municipalities, and community organizations, ItsDoable supports hundreds of families residing in the Eastern and Central North Carolina areas each year.
Proceeds from our annual music festival provide funds for ItsDoable to host several back to school drives and community day events. Over the past 4 years, we have increased our presence from 1 site to over 6 in Eastern North Carolina. We serve populations in Nash, Edgecombe, Durham, and Wake counties.
Thanks to our friends at Butterball and the Food Bank of North Carolina, ItsDoable is able to provide holiday meals for families in need during the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Each July, we present our largest annual community event – a fun, family oriented outdoor music festival. The DownEast Music Festival showcases a unique blend of live musical performances from local, regional and national recording artists.
